Business Analyst - Financial Services Transformation

Are you a Business Analyst with 4+ years' experience delivering transformation within banking or broader financial services? Talenza has been engaged to source a Business Analyst to join a high-performing delivery team working across large-scale change initiatives.

Location: Sydney
Office: 50% attendance
Salary: $130k-$140k base + super (multi-year fixed-term contract)

• Lead and support business analysis across complex financial services transformation programs
• Elicit, define, and document business and functional requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions
• Contribute to end-to-end project delivery across core banking, payments, or customer platforms
• Support delivery across regulatory, digital, or system migration initiatives

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within financial services
• Strong background in transformation, change, or large-scale program delivery
• Experience working across core banking systems, payments, or customer/product domains
• Exposure to regulatory or migration programs highly regarded
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and documentation skills
• Tools: Jira, Confluence

Nice to have:

• Exposure to wealth management, investment platforms, or superannuation products (e.g. wrap platforms, managed funds)

• Must be Sydney-based
• Full working rights (Citizen or PR)
