Senior Business Analyst (12M Contract) - Credit Cards

About the role:
We're seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive end-to-end delivery across key credit card initiatives. You'll work across the full cards ecosystem, partnering with business and technology teams to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes.

This role will suit a strong end-to-end BA with exposure to cards, payments, or transactional banking, who can operate across both business and technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business analysis from discovery through to delivery and implementation
• Work across card transaction flows including authorisation, clearing, and settlement
• Support delivery of regulatory, compliance, and platform change initiatives
• Collaborate with engineering teams on integrations, APIs, and message flows
• Drive stakeholder engagement across product, technology, risk, and operations
• Facilitate workshops, manage requirements, and support testing and implementation

What you'll bring:

• 6-10+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within financial services
• Exposure to credit cards, payments, or transactional banking
• Understanding of authorisation, clearing & settlement processes
• Experience working with message-based systems (e.g. ISO8583 / AS2805)
• Strong end-to-end BA capability across the full delivery lifecycle
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to have:

• Experience in card aquiring or issuing
• Knowledge of EMV, 3DS, tokenisation, or digital wallets
• Exposure to scheme compliance or regulatory change initiatives
• Experience in card platform migration or modernisation programs
