I'm working with a specialist technology consultancy delivering a large-scale data program for a property-focused organisation undergoing a major ERP transformation.
This is a hands-on role suited to a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer who enjoys building pipelines and rolling up their sleeves to help design and administer a Snowflake platform in a delivery-focused project team.
You'll support the implementation of a new ERP by ingesting legacy data sources, building pipelines into Snowflake, and enabling reporting through Power BI. You'll also support the Snowflake environment design, security, and day-to-day administration, working alongside senior delivery leads.
This role has an immediate start and will run for an initial 12-month engagement, with a key program milestone in August.
- Build and maintain data pipelines into Snowflake
- Ingest, model and transform legacy data sources (ELT/ETL)
- Write and optimise SQL for performance and reliability
- Build and support Power BI dashboards and datasets
- Support Snowflake platform design and administration, including:
- Role-based access control (RBAC), users/roles, permissions
- Warehouses, resource monitoring, performance/cost optimisation
- Data loading patterns, schemas, environments (dev/test/prod where applicable)
- Operational support, monitoring, incident triage and BAU post go-live
- Work closely with delivery teams in a managed services-style model
- 3-5 years experience in a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer / Snowflake Engineer role
- Hands-on Snowflake experience including exposure to administration (not just querying)
- Strong SQL skills (optimisation mindset)
- Experience building reporting in Power BI
- Exposure to Azure data environments (ADLS/ADF/Azure SQL etc.)
- Solid understanding of end-to-end data pipelines and production support
- ERP or legacy system migration experience
- Exposure to platform administration / managed services
- Familiarity with data security/governance practices (RBAC, auditing)
- Basic CI/CD exposure for data (Git, deployment workflows)
- Long-term engagement with stability
