Security Architect - 12 Month Contract - Melbourne - $1100-$1150 per day

About the role

A forward-thinking utilities company are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join their team on a 12-month extendable contract based in Melbourne, with only one day per week required in the office

The role would suit someone with a broad background across Cyber, Networks, cloud/infra

Responsibilities:

• Ensure secure-by-design principles are embedded across IT and Digital
• Threat modelling and risk assessments
• Developing security architecture documentation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and internal security frameworks
• Stakeholder management

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in containerized environments
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and security automation
• Ideally have experience in highly regulated sectors - energy, government, finance, telco
• CISSP, CRISC, CISA, SABSA, TOGAF, or other relevant certifications
• Ability to influence both technical and business teams
• Strong across GRC and relevant frameworks
