Talenza is seeking an experienced AO5 Project Engagement Officer to provide additional capacity within their Northern District Customer and Stakeholder Engagement team.

The role will support stakeholder engagement and communications across a portfolio of major road and safety projects, including Bruce Highway Tranche 1-7, Angus Smith Drive Upgrade, Abbott Street Connection Road and Oonooba Road improvements.

Key focus areas include:

• Stakeholder and community engagement support
• Preparation of clear, accurate and consistent project communications
• Liaison with road users, residents, local councils and businesses
• Supporting multiple concurrent infrastructure projects

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in stakeholder engagement or communications (government or infrastructure highly regarded)
• Strong written communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Contract details:

• Initial 2 year term with 1 year extension option
• $An hourly rate of $65 - $75 per hour
• Long-term opportunity on high profile projects
