This is a business-focused SBA role, working closely with product, operations, and technology stakeholders on a banking data migration program
Lead business analysis for migration
Define migration readiness criteria, business rules, and enablement requirements.
Analyse legacy systems, data sources, and customer journeys to identify impacts and dependencies.
Document migration pathways, exception handling, and operational procedures.
Facilitate workshops with business, operations, and technology SMEs.
Support migration simulations, trial runs, and issue/defect management.
Contribute to transition, training, and post-migration readiness activities.
Senior-level BA experience in large-scale data or system migrations within banking (must)
- Strong banking product knowledge; mortgages, cards, deposits etc (must)
Strong requirements elicitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to manage dependencies across complex delivery streams.
Experience working with Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery models.
Understanding of data concepts (profiling, ETL, orchestration, exception handling).
Retail banking domain knowledge, particularly consumer/deposit products.
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
Candidates must be based in Sydney with full Australian work rights.
