Role: Senior Product Engineer
Daily Rate: $800 - $1000 + Super
Contract Length: Initial contract until 13/02/26 (Chance of Extension)

We're hiring Senior Product Engineers with strong experience in building reliable, maintainable systems that support complex integration, transformation and scale. You'll be critical to delivering robust digital products and reusable platforms that underpin accessible public services.

About You

We're looking for experienced engineers who can hit the ground running with the following:

• SQL Expertise: 4+ years of advanced experience writing complex queries, building procedures/functions, and developing within database environments.

• API Integration: Strong skills in systems integration, especially RESTful, SOAP, and HTTP-based services.

• Scripting: Groovy or Java scripting highly desirable.

• Platform Knowledge: Experience with Amanda (nice to have).

• Version Control: Solid understanding of Git, GitHub, GitLab, or SVN, including repo management, code reviews, and branching workflows.

• Solution Design: Proven track record creating detailed designs and presenting to technical governance boards.

• Team Leadership: Ability to mentor junior engineers and enhance team capability.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Confident translating complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and collaborating on requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Prototyping: Skilled at building Proof of Concepts to validate and test solution feasibility.
