I'm working with a Brisbane based fin-tech company who are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join their technology team.

This role focuses on improving automation, security, and test coverage in a regulated, high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining automated test suites across microservices, APIs, and frontend applications, integrating secure testing tools into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with development and DevOps teams to embed quality early in the SDLC.

Experience with tools such as Ready API, Postman, Selenium, Cypress, and containerisation technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.

Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Octopus, Azure DevOps) and secure testing practices aligned to PCI DSS or PSD2 is essential. Scripting experience (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Java) and a strong understanding of automation frameworks is also expected.
